Taming Your Chinchilla
When you bring a Chinchilla to home leave it alone
for a few days do not open the cage only
if you have to.

Step 1
When you see that your chinchilla is setteling
in you can try to feed your chinchilla treats
(raisins)through the cage bars.
  Step 2
Open the cage door and try to feed your
Chinchilla from your fingers.

Step 3
When your Chinchilla stops showing fear of taking
the treat from your fingers try putting the treat
in you palm so that your Chinchilla will have to
put his two front paws on your plam so he can take
the treat.

Step 5
Once your Chinchilla is on your arm try to step
away from the cage and put your hand over your
Chinchilla,if your Chinchilla seems to be stressed
step back and put him carefully in the cage,if this
step fails go back to step 3, if you can
successfully complete this step,
YOU HAVE NOW TAMED YOUR CHINCHILLA!!!

Step 4
When your Chinchilla will not be afraid to take a
treat from your palm try to move up your arm so
your Chinchilla will have to climb on your arm to
get the treat.
If this step does not work and your chinchilla
seems to be stressed try going back to the third
step and move slowly back on to this step.
